Joe Delgado: Co-Founder & Personal Trainer
Joe is an ACE certified personal trainer, holds 2 master's degrees in Business and Human Resources, and Health Systems Administration and has over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry. He is passionate about wellness and educating athletes about competing at the elite level without the use of performance enhancing drugs. Joe holds many state and national records in drug-free powerlifting and enjoys being a mentor in the sport.
Jacques-Luis Nodar: Co-Founder & Personal Trainer
Jacques-Luis is an ACE certified personal trainer with over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry. He has enjoyed working in many facilities and with many different populations including youth groups, sports teams, and senior living facilities. He hopes to motivate people to achieve their wellness goals and lead a healthier, happier life.
Jess Buss: Personal Trainer
Jess is a Board Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American Society of Exercise Physiologists. She attended DeSales University where she played on the women's volleyball team and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Physiology. She is passionate about teaching everyone that exercise really is medicine and that it has the power to change lives. She's excited to help others become healthier and happier!
Marty Butler: Personal Trainer
For the last 10 years I was climbing the corporate ladder for a company that consistently ranks as one of the Best Companies to work for. However, I realized that there was something missing in my life; I had a passion for fitness and knew that I wanted to help others. This led me to personal training and I went on to become certified by the American Council of Exercise (ACE) as a personal trainer. I feel like this is my true calling and I can now use my passion for health and wellness to help others. In the future I hope to develop affordable fitness programs that help our youth find their health, happiness and confidence as they pursue their dreams as well.
Kat Delorme: Personal Trainer
Kat is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer. When Kat was a freshman in college, as a dance major, she was first exposed to the gym as a tool to aid in performance. She was warned against anything that would inhibit the “ideal dancer’s body.” After rebelling with lifting weights and earning her brown belt in judo, Kat felt empowered and recognized the importance of overall wellness. She is passionate about helping other women grow stronger and more confident in and out of the gym.
Ezekiel Diemand: Personal Trainer
Ezekiel began his journey into fitness as a freshman in high school, looking to get bigger and stronger for athletics. This developed into a passion that he pursued for the remainder of high school, educating himself as much as possible about training. He went on to earn a Bachelor's of Science in Fitness and Wellness Leadership from SUNY Plattsburgh and became a certified personal trainer through ACSM. Since school, he has continued to expand his knowledge through research and experience with clients that span all ages, backgrounds, and contexts. With several years of experience and a wealth of knowledge, Ezekiel uses an evidence-based approach to provide his clients with the best service possible, helping them reach whatever their goal is and having a great time doing it!
Janna Sirianni: Personal Trainer
Janna, a graduate of RIT, is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer who is bilingual (American Sign Language is her native language and English her second language). She works with clients of all fitness levels who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing or anyone interested in learning sign language while becoming fit. She is passionate about helping others feel happier, healthier, and fit through personal training and guidance toward a healthier lifestyle!
Chris Finley: Personal Trainer
After becoming interested in exercise and lifting weights in sixth grade, Chris earned his personal training certification through the American College of Sports Medicine in 2008. He graduated magna cum laude from SUNY Brockport in 2017 with a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science and is continuing his studies at Nazareth College in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, which he plans to graduate from in 2020. He takes an evidence-based approach to training and enjoys enabling people to take control of their own health and fitness through education and simple, maintainable lifestyle modifications.
Dan Howell: Personal Trainer
Dan is an ACE certified personal trainer who has spent the past decade working professionally as a graphic designer and communications specialist. After working with Jacques-Luis as his trainer for several years, Dan was inspired to start using his love of wellness to help others. He is passionate about helping people integrate wellness into their everyday lives in meaningful ways to help improve their lives. Dan and his husband have both enjoyed the benefits of an active lifestyle and an improved quality of life. As a theatre artist, Dan is also looking forward to working with the arts community to make fitness an integral part of performing.
Jenny Krieger: Massage Therapist
Jenny received her New York License in 2014 after studying at Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage. She believes that everyone’s needs are unique to them, so she takes care to focus her full attention on each individual during their session. A variety of techniques may be used within the massage including Swedish, Myofascial Release, and Deep Tissue, to best achieve your goals. A strong proponent of giving back to the community, Jenny volunteers as a therapist at St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center, and offers a 10% discount to all active military personnel and veterans.
Emily Shortt Symer: Massage Therapist
Emily received her Massachusetts Massage License in 2012 after graduating from Elizabeth Grady School of Massage Therapy and her New York License in 2015 after studying at Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage. Passionate about giving back to her community, Emily currently volunteers her time with 13thirty Cancer Connect and is a former Big Sister for Big Sisters of Boston. She hopes to become certified in Oncology Massage as well as Massage for Veterans. Emily loves helping people reach their wellness goals through massage.
Crystal Diiulio: Yoga Instructor
Crystal is a nationally certified yoga instructor through Yogafit, a licensed esthetician, and has recently returned to school to pursue a degree in occupational therapy. When she tried her first yoga class over ten years ago, she was so amazed with how incredible she felt, that she knew she had to become a teacher, and bring that same experience to others. She has been teaching yoga in the Rochester area for over seven years, and loves sharing the amazing health benefits that yoga can bring.
Rob Wager: Physical Therapist
Rob graduated from Nazareth College in 2015 with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Since that time Rob has been working in the outpatient orthopedic setting, joining the team at STAR in 2017. Rob completed the physical therapy orthopedic residency program at the Cayuga Medical Center in 2018. Rob uses a variety of hands on manual therapy techniques and exercises when treating his patients, helping them to achieve the best outcomes possible, with the goal of each patient attaining sustainable independence.
Kayla Womeldorff: Registered Dietician
Kayla is a nationally certified registered dietitian. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition from the University of Idaho, where she completed the Coordinated Program in Dietetics. In addition to her degree in Food and Nutrition, Kayla also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. A former grocery store dietitian, Kayla is an expert in providing practical tips for choosing healthier foods to both clients and the public. Kayla is a firm believer that healthy and delicious are not mutually exclusive terms, and she relishes any opportunity to help people incorporate foods they love into a healthful, nourishing diet.
